London to Paris cycle ride for Louth Search Dogs

Thank you to Louth Leader who published a story following our work. The article can be found here:

Regulars at the Greyhound pub in Louth cycled from London to Paris in July and raised £2,028 for the Louth Search Dogs.

The volunteer group was very grateful for the cyclists’ efforts.

The Louth Search Dogs was formed to provide a free, voluntary, passive searching service to the community of Lincolnshire, to back up the Police when searching for missing persons.

They have a close liaison with the Dog Section of Lincolnshire Police, who oversee and assess their training.

Home Office Approved Instructors assess them and our dogs annually.

It is believed they are one of a small number of civilian groups to have achieved this unique status in Britain.

The dogs are first and foremost family pets, although they tend to be from the working breeds.
